About Us
Crouse Cafe, located in Indianola, IA, has been a family-owned staple in the community since 1946. Originally founded by Bob and Cleo Crouse, the restaurant served customers in Leon, Knoxville, and Indianola. In 1963, ownership passed to their son Richard and his wife Bonnie Crouse. In 1970, a move across the street to its current location was made under the advice of R.M. Hale. The legacy continues as their children, John, Bob, and Cindy, took over in 1987. Today, John and Rhonda, along with John's brother Bob, and the next generation including their son Josh in the kitchen, and daughter Kristin and nieces Heidi and Abbie as waitstaff, proudly operate the cafe. For a taste of tradition, visit Crouse Cafe in Indianola today—but please note, our menu is being updated and prices may change.
